In February, PYD’s held its first ever Winter Bash! We celebrated our youth, families, and volunteers and enjoyed time with our wonderful PYD community playing games, making crafts, dancing it out, and eating good food.
We asked attendees a few questions about their experience with PYD, and here are some of their responses:
How has PYD made a difference in your life?
“En mi vida mucho en primer lunar aceptaciòn, amistad, tener confanza a mi misma, sentirme al la discapacidad solo es algo que vive en mi pero yono vivo enella.”
(In my life in many ways; firstly acceptance, friendship, having confidence in myself, feeling that my disability is something that lives in me but that I don’t live in it)
