Tayon Kulos is a passionate advocate for community building, youth empowerment, and civic engagement. Originally from Norwich, Connecticut, Tayon moved to Boston in 2018 to attend Emerson College, where he focused on helping young people become politically informed and engaged. In 2020, he founded For the People, an organization designed to encourage youth participation in politics, deepen their understanding of current events, and inspire them to take action, particularly during the critical election year. Tayon’s commitment to youth continued as he worked as a paraprofessional, helping middle school students reach their full potential, and later contributed to the YMCA of Greater Boston, furthering his dedication to supporting local communities.
With a lifelong passion for positive change, Tayon is committed to empowering the next generation to actively engage with their communities and the world. Outside of his professional work, he enjoys reading, writing, watching movies and TV shows, and listening to the timeless sounds of Motown music. Tayon’s deep-rooted dedication to both personal growth and social change drives his mission to make a meaningful impact wherever he goes.
