Access to Theatre Program (ATT)

Do you have the skills or desire to be an actor, singer, director or poet? In our Access to Theatre program, you will explore all phases of theatre including theatre games, acting, directing, im-provisation, storytelling, choreography, movement, music, costume, props, set design and more. Youth meet in both large and small groups with the artistic director and with other artists throughout the year. Participants will develop everything from original stories, dialogue, and music sound cues to figuring out how to build accessible sets. Are you a leader? Access to Theatre veterans (ages 16-24) may apply to work as peer leaders, teaching assistants, group facilitators and as mentors to younger ensemble members. The program is guided by your individual and group decisions.

ATT in the News! Read the Boston Herald's Dec 27, 2004 article, "A chance to shine (PDF)" about Access to Theatre and its winning the national Coming Up Taller Award. This article is reprinted with permission of the Boston Herald.
